AI without the refusals

    Stop negotiating with your chatbot.

Jailbreak prompts, role-play tricks, “hypothetically speaking” - the workarounds exist because mainstream assistants refuse first and think later. OpenGradient runs neutrally-aligned open models - Hermes 4, DeepSeek - that treat you like an adult, behind an anonymity layer so the asking is as safe as the answer.

    The refusal tax

Every refusal is your time spent on their liability.

Mainstream models are tuned to minimize their maker's risk, not your utility. The result is hedging on medical facts, moralizing about legal questions, and flat refusals on anything that pattern-matches to controversy - even when your use is obviously legitimate.

Refused for the category, not the content

Security research, medication interactions, legal consequences, dark fiction - entire topics get blanket-refused because edge cases exist somewhere in them.

    And the refusal is logged

The question the model wouldn't answer still sits in your history - flagged, attached to your account, telling a story with no context.

The questions people actually bring here

“Explain how this exploit works so I can patch my server.”“What actually happens if I miss a court date?”“Write the villain like he means it.”

    Here's how OpenGradient is different

    Aligned to answer

    Neutrally-aligned open models

Hermes 4 (70B and 405B) and DeepSeek v4 follow instructions instead of moralizing about them - steerable, blunt when asked, no permission dance.

    The frontier one click away

GPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok share the same picker - use them for polish, switch to the open models when they balk. No new tab, no new subscription.

    Anonymous asking

The anonymity layer means the sensitive question is never linked to you - which is what makes actually asking it rational.

    How anonymity works

    The anonymity layer

    Straight answers need safe questions.

Not a policy promise - a protocol. No single party, including us, ever holds both your identity and your question.

    Read the full security architecture
    1. Encrypted on your device

Messages are encrypted locally before they leave your browser.

    2. Anonymized by Oblivious HTTP

Network relays split who you are from what you're asking. No one sees both.

    3. Unlocked only in a secure enclave

The model reads your prompt inside attested hardware that never learns who sent it.

    Questions, answered

    Frequently asked

Will these models answer literally anything?
No - illegal content is banned, and the models keep their own judgment. What changes is the default: legal questions get answered on their merits instead of refused for their category. The content policy is published and short.
Why do open models refuse less?
They're trained for instruction-following and neutral alignment rather than a single company's brand-risk profile, and we host them without an extra moderation layer on top. There's no corporate PR department inside the weights.
Do I need special prompts or jailbreaks?
That's the point of leaving: no. Ask plainly, get answered plainly. Your prompt engineering budget goes back to actual work.
